If you or someone you know is ever in a situation where you need help finding a bed for the night, there are services out there to help you.

Housing Connect have seven office locations around Tasmania – call in to one of their offices, and they can help you arrange emergency short term accommodation.  You can also call them on 1800 800 588, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There are shelters and supported accommodation who will be able to help you out, but generally the first point of contact should be through Housing Connect. Housing Connect will also be able to assist you with finding a place to stay in the long term.
