Graffiti and Tagging

Graffiti and tagging are vandalism. Vandalising or damaging another person’s property or public property is illegal.

You can be charged and fined for marking or tagging property and could also be ordered to complete community service. You can also be charged with being in possession of graffiti equipment (like spray paint) in public places.

It’s possible that anyone selling or giving graffiti equipment to a youth can also be charged.
