Jury Duty

Generally speaking, everyone on the electoral roll who resides in a jury district, can speak and understand English, and who is fit and well can be asked to serve on a jury.

You may be called for jury duty once you turn 18 and are enrolled to vote. Jury duty is compulsory but there are some exceptions such as not being fluent in English or being seriously ill.
