Guys Gotta Know is a legal information initiative for young men like you, created by Women’s Legal Service Tasmania. We believe that knowledge is power – use it.

So, what’s a Women’s Legal Service doing writing a website for guys?  We’ve already created a sister site, Girls Gotta Know, and figured there was stuff a guys gotta know too, right?  Our aim is to provide up-to-date, easy to read, relevant information to young men – mostly legal info (because that’s what we do), but also some general info about things you need to know, and things you want to know.

We’ve tried to cover lots of topics, but there is probably something you want to know that we haven’t covered.  If there’s something that you want to know, chances are others do too – if you have a suggestion of a topic you would like to see added to Guys Gotta Know, it would be great if you would go ahead and send us an email through our contact page.

Women’s Legal Service Tasmania is a free community legal service funded by the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department. We provide advice, information, representation, referral, and education.  We are part of Women’s Legal Services Australia, a national network of community legal services specialising in women’s legal issues, and we are also a part of the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC).
